I'm not much of an ice cream person, but I really enjoy Freddy Hill's ice cream! There are so many flavors to choose from. Today I tried the Lemon Cookie Crunch & it was perfect! The perfect lemon flavor - not too sweet or too tart - and had decent sized cookie pieces in it. The staff are friendly & patient even when there is a line. Inside seating has an old school feel. Outside seating is benches or picnic tables by the mini golf course.
Our go to spot for ice cream, they have so many flavors, lots of toppings and add ones to. They have batting cages and a mini golf on the property to add some fun with your ice cream.
The best ice cream in the area and surroundings. I come here very often. Mostly after dinner. The service has always been friendly. Some of my favorite flavors are: butter brickle, candy cane and maple walnut. I've had almost all flavors and they're all good. They have a little shop inside with your favorite ice cream flavors in a larger quantity. Also they have good egg nog available during the holidays. Lastly, mini golf is a fun addition.
I've literally only come here to go mini golfing since it's one of the only places left but it's such a fun time! Honestly either course you take it goes by pretty quickly! They do have an ice cream shop I believe as well as batting cages and animals ! I like that there are also plenty of picnic benches and ample parking !
We were visiting Philadelphia for the weekend and stopped here because of the Visit PA 2023 Scooped Ice Cream tour. Tons of parking. Line out the door. Faster service than Chick-fil-a drive thru. People sat indoors, outdoors, in their cars, and drove away eating ice cream. Families, couples, friends - it was a really nice environment to enjoy an ice cream cone. Tons of flavors. We didn't partake in putt putt ... but we planned to. If it wasn't 4+ hours from home, I could definitely see us being regulars.
